1. Promoter
The promoter is One Partner Ltd (FSP403346), trading as better finance™ (“Promoter”), 14/987 Ferry Road, Ferrymead, Christchurch 8023, New Zealand.

2. Promotion Period
The promotion commences at 12:00am on 14 January 2026 and ends at 11:59pm on 27 February 2026 (“Promotion Period”).

3. Eligible Applicants
This offer is only available to New Zealand residents aged 18 years or over who:
a) access better finance™ via the ClearScore platform and apply for a new personal loan or vehicle loan through that ClearScore referral path during the Promotion Period; and
b) are approved and successfully settle that loan with a lender arranged through better finance™ during the Promotion Period or within 30 days after the Promotion Period (unless otherwise extended at the Promoter’s discretion).

4. Ineligible Applicants
The following are not eligible for this offer:
a) applications made directly to better finance™ or via any channel other than through a ClearScore referral;
b) loan top-ups, variations, rewrites or refinances of existing loans originally arranged through better finance™;
c) business, commercial or asset finance facilities; and
d) shareholders, directors, employees, contractors and agents of the Promoter, its related entities, product providers and referral partners (including ClearScore), and their immediate families.

5. Cashback Offer
a) Eligible customers will receive a NZD $200 cashback (“Cashback”) for each eligible, approved and settled personal loan or vehicle loan that meets these Terms and Conditions.
b) The Cashback is limited to one (1) Cashback per eligible settled loan. 
c) The Cashback is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash or any other consideration, except as set out in these Terms and Conditions.

6. Payment of Cashback
a) The Cashback will be paid by electronic funds transfer into the verified New Zealand bank account nominated by the customer for loan repayments (or such other account as agreed by the Promoter) within 30 days after confirmation of settlement of the eligible loan.
b) It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure correct bank account details are provided. The Promoter is not responsible for Cashback payments made in accordance with details provided in error by the customer.

7. Verification & Compliance
Eligibility for the Cashback is subject to the customer and the loan meeting the responsible lending requirements, standard lending criteria, credit assessment, verification checks, and any applicable fees and charges of the relevant lender. The Promoter may request any information it reasonably requires to confirm eligibility and may decline or withhold the Cashback if these Terms and Conditions are not met.

8. ClearScore
ClearScore is not the Promoter, does not arrange, provide or guarantee any loan, and is not responsible for the Cashback or this promotion. Any queries regarding the promotion should be directed to better finance™.

9. Tax and Costs
Any tax implications or additional costs associated with receiving the Cashback are the responsibility of the customer. Independent financial or tax advice should be sought if required.

10. General
a) The Promoter’s decisions on all matters relating to the promotion (including eligibility and Cashback payment) are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
b) The Promoter may amend, suspend or cancel the promotion (including these Terms and Conditions) at any time where reasonably necessary and will honour valid entitlements accrued prior to any change.
c) To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not liable for any loss, damage or claim arising from or in connection with the promotion or the Cashback, except where caused by its negligence.
d) Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions and the Promoter’s privacy policy, which explains how personal information is collected, used and disclosed in connection with this promotion.
