  1. 1. Promoter
    The promoter is One Partner Ltd (NZBN 9429040970659) trading as better finance™️, Motor Vehicle Finance and Loan Spot, 14/987 Ferry Road, Ferrymead, Christchurch 8023 and L2, 16 Edinburgh Street, Newton, Auckland 1010. 

    2. Promotion period
    Starts 12:01 am NZST 17 June 2025 and ends 11:59 pm NZST 8 July 2025 (“Promotional Period”).

    3. Eligibility
    a. Referrers must be New Zealand residents aged 18 +.
    b. Referred friends (“Applicants”) must be either: (a) a person who has never previously borrowed through better finance™️, Motor Vehicle Finance and Loan Spot, or (b) a past customer whose most recent loan with us settled at least 12 months before the date of claim.
    c. Employees, directors and immediate family of the promoter, its lending partners and referral partners are ineligible.

    4. How to enter
    a. The referrer forwards the promotion email or directs the Applicant to apply at better.co.nz and type Celebrate in the “Additional Notes” field.
    b. A referral is valid once the Applicant’s loan application is received by the promoter within the Promotional Period.
    c. Only one Referrer and Applicant reward is paid per settled loan.

    5. Reward
    a. When an eligible Applicant’s loan settles (i.e. funds are advanced) the referrer and the Applicant each receive one NZ $250 Prezzy® Card (“Reward”).
    b. Rewards are issued within 30 days of settlement to the postal or email address confirmed with each party.
    c. The Reward is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash. Prezzy Card terms apply.

    6. Settlements outside the Promotional Period
    Applications made during the Promotional Period must settle by 31 August 2025 to qualify. Loans settling after this date are excluded.

    7. General conditions
    a. The promoter’s decision on all matters is final and no correspondence will be entered into. 
    b. The promoter reserves the right to verify eligibility and to reject referrals deemed invalid, duplicate, incomplete or fraudulent.
    c. The promoter may amend, suspend or cancel the promotion.
    d. The promoter is not liable for any loss, damage or injury arising from participation or use of the Reward, to the extent permitted by law.
    e. Tax obligations, if any, are the responsibility of the Reward recipients.

    8. Privacy & publicity
    a. Personal information is collected to administer the promotion and will be handled in accordance with the promoter’s Privacy Policy.
    b. By accepting a Reward, recipients consent to their first name and initial being used in promotional materials without further compensation.

  2. c. While we will not provide any loan details or personal information to the Referrer, should the Applicant's loan settle and a Reward be paid, the Referrer will by default know that the Applicant has settled a loan.
